My son has court beginning of July..
Do I tell my family ? I have only told one person .. I'm so worried that it will hit press , social media and I don't really want all the calls saying why didn't you tell us. What did you do ? Please any advice welcome.. thank you

It's a very difficult one to answer. My situation was a livestream video sting, so I had no choice.
Reading about people's experiences, it seems to vary.
When I expressed my suprise about the positive support I received to a friend, she asked how I would have been had it been her, I said I would have been supportive, she said yes people make friends with people like themselves, who share the same values and beliefs....so I should have expected my friends to support me. I don't know if that is true, but it makes sense.
I know I would have found it difficult to have got through and healed from this trauma without support.

Ours is iioc, the one person I told is my best friend I don't ever really here from her now though maybe I've just distanced myself from everyone. I'm sorry to hear yours was live streamed :( it is so difficult hey .. hope your doing OK xx

Thank you .. yes its very hard .. so I run a risk really whatever I choose haha.. I either don't say anything and pray it doesn't hit papers or I tell them and face the music and it doesn't hit papers I've told them for no reason haha.. I don't want to be pittied nor do I want to try and explain how I've known for 18 months and not said a word ohh god haha x
