I just wanted to ask what sort of counselors are being used? Does an offender seek a specialist counselor or just any? I feel like if my son were to go to just a general one they'd judge him or not help him. Or is it just better to go for a LF course?

I agree with Lee, you should contact LFF and ask for specialist therapist - I did and was contacted by a couple. My son will have his first session next week.

He is also having online 1:1 sessions with saferlives, who seem to know what they are doing x

Hi my son receives specialist counselling from a stopso counsellor, every couple of weeks for the last 6-7 months , this has been very helpful for him in processing things and moving forward . He has also recently enquired about the informplus course .

I wish you all the very best
