Hi all

I was just wondering what people have done in terms of solicitors/lawyers? Currently husband is RUI but he had a solicitor appointed at the police station. They seem ok so far but obviously not much to do at the moment.

Has everyone kept with this solicitor? Or have people instructed new ones for the case?

would it be recommended to understand how much experience in similar cases they have and can I ask that of them?

I want Hubby to have the best chance possible so starting to think about this!! Also for those with Social services stuff going on have they been able to use the same legal team as for the legal case or would you recommend using a different one that's specialised in family law?

thanks all

It's s hard decision, choosing a solicitor

I've gone for one who appears to have good experience on this, but who knows

Main thing is I *think* my son is ok with him, and engages and feels able to talk to him

Not much doing at the moment

Devices were taken and arrest made on 24 June

Son released with no current bail conditions

We picked a solicitor with experience in dealing with this sort of case, duty solicitor didn't seem very good, this one has been so much better,
