So we are in between plea and sentencing now.

My questions is we have been contacted by SS who said they don't want to remain in our lives or keep dipping in and out so want social worker to come out and discuss a long term plan. I told her there and then I would like to work towards a goal jointly of my husband having unsupervised contact with our son. Even if supervised contact is still required for our baby. She didn't seem adverse to that.

Question is has any of you managed to get unsupervised contact.

We are currently on safety plan but things I have thought of or have done are the following.

1) safeguarding level 2 course for me, husband, parents and sister completed

2) if he was allowed unsupervised contact with son then I would still do his personal care and if he put him to bed he wouldnt read book on the bed nor would he have the door closed.

Is there anything else I can do?
