Hi, my partners case ended up.in the media, after being supportive his exwife has told his son he has moved away and asked him too, we don't live together and I live 25 miles away he is going to come to me for a bit but he looks after his dad so will have to go back few days a week, would social services help him at least talk to his son once a week he wants to die and I don't know how to help him
My partner's ex wife has been very anti any contact with his kids. Has to be dealt with by family courts.
If she was supportive at first it is likely a knee jerk reaction to the media maybe. Or maybe she was going to cut contact regardless if he was sentenced. Best to try to get in contact with her as to way she seems to have done a U turn.

Hi thanks for getting back to me, I just hope things settle down, we were dreading it going in the media but its so so bad, it's gone now, my daughter unfortunately saw it but is the only one, she said to just keep him separate while she thinks which I understand, before this happened I would have prob done what his exwife did, his PO report said that in his opinion my partner did it for the risk having started with legal porn and spiraling down and which made me feel better because it was what he told me, why the press phoned his old work i don't know we think it may have been to get a photo cos he featured in the trade magazine and that is the photo they used, its now gone in the trade magazine we are hoping he can now do some volunteering because thankfully we should be ok for a while due to being able to draw down on pensions I think if he doesn't get out he will get suicidal again, its so hard at least on here people understand, thanks for getting back to me
