If I wanted to go away for a few days in the UK, would it just be husband's PO we would need to notify or the police register as well?

Ss have closed our case and hes allowed unsupervised access with kids but would I still need to let them know?

Thanks

Thanks. So if it's a trip like to a zoo or museum do I need to check the terms and conditions? My husband's shpo only has restrictions on device usage.

If you are holidaying in mainland Uk you only have to notify the police with regards to the SOR if you are going to be away for longer than 7 days, any thing under that time and you do not need to tell police anything.

and remember that the likes of holiday resorts/ camp sites hotels etc have no access to the police national computer so there is no need what so ever to tell them anything they will never know

I would say there is no need to check the terms and conditions, the sex offenders register is a notification document only, it has no restrictions as to what you can and cant do. The things that you cant do will either be in the licience conditions that only have to be followed if and while on licience, or if on a SHPO when not on licience. a good document to read is the guidance on part 2 of the sexual offences act 2003 or also contact the Unlock helpline as well

For my partner and I we try to be safe than sorry when it comes to notifications. If we go away, even for one night, we tell the police officer.

There are no restrictions for my partner to go to the zoo or similar sites but can't (ofc) approach children. We have enquired for example Disney trips and the police officer said they can't disagree as such but we will need to check t and C's. I believe so e holiday parks do not allow offenders but not sure how this is enforced
