Hiya team.

Just wondering. My hubby knows he will lose his job once the investigation is over and hopefully will get another job.

So was asking if anybody got a new job and new workers found out about their past and what did they do.

Xx.

Hi,

my husband lost his job but quickly joined an employment agency who knew about his conviction and who have been very supportive. He is placed with companies and his colleagues don't know. It's not the kind of work he was doing before but it doesn't matter. He has constant work and no stress. His previous job was very stressful.

My partner has a job where they never asked for conviction info.

The unlock.org site is useful but best bet is to look for small companies or known companies that take on offenders. Tho due to the nature of the offence such businesses may still decline- but worth a go.

Probation can help but because my partner has a degree they were not great at helping him get a job suited to someone who has higher education.

Hiya.

Did he go through a agency or just found the job.

Did he have to wait long to get something. Hope he is ok in his new job and hasn't been asked to many questions or people googling him.

((Hugs)) xx

He was lucky that he didn't have to wait long, and he was able to keep his job through sentencing so he wasn't between jobs.

He found it himself. He isn't on any web searches thankfully. If our partner's case does go to the media then recruitment agencies that take offenders is probably the best bet.
