SS intervention

I should know it all, I'm/was a social worker myself (sorry all please no hate, got enough going on!) But my world got turned upside down, as I'm sure all of yours have. What I am confused about is the massive difference between SS approaches. Mine is progressing to Child Protection, a management decision because I have not made a conclusive decision to end my relationship. All contact is supervised which I am doing, family know and I was deemed a protective parent and told the case would close until management decision against. But looking through here the inconsistencies are massive. I get each set of circumstances is different but how can I be deemed protective one minute by police and SS and then not the next? Is this a lack of knowledge across the service and luck of the draw as to which authority your in and what knowledge they have in this area. I know I wouldn't have enough knowledge and would have sought advice and guidance but this doesn't seem to be happening. Sorry for the long rant on here just so confused.
Just like your name on here I feel the same. So lost and everyone expects me the know and have the answers!
I am amazed at the inconsistencies, an agency who should be supporting the non offending partner feels like it holds you accountable more than the offender. As you say a lack of knowledge and lack of motivation to understand seems to be a massive barrier. But I'm getting this from management as opposed to the actual SW. Don't think my job helps, maybe under even more scrutiny.
Gosh 18 months in, you must be so strong. Are you still with your OH?
I was very reluctant to post on here, glad I did. And the helpline has been amazing.

Sorry u r in this position, and it is so hard, I did work to make me deemed protective, and then 2 years later was deemed to be un protective, due to me ( they say I was ) minimising wat my hubby had done, but it wasn't the case the 2 conversations I had had was before I knew wat he was being charged with and secondly, the advice from the police ( the advice they gave me ) seemed to be different to wat the sw at the time thought, I dont no if the police told them different but they took away my supervision rights and we have been put on cpp( we have been in cpp since last November)
