HELP!! How do you find/pick a good family/children’s solicitor?

I've literally been handed papers just now telling me to find a solicitor to attend a meeting with me. They want to take my youngest from me and place in care because they are worried about my parenting. A lot what they pointed out in this letter is lies but it's my word against the social worker and what my 3year old has told school. The letter talks about all the children but mentions mainly taking the youngest from me. There was a mix up in contact and The social worker says emails have been sent out about it which we say we have never received. Do social services have to prove they sent them surely they should. We have checked spam and there's nothing there about what they claim they sent.
how do I find a solicitor who can help and has had dealings on this nature? What questions do I have to ask? I'm in the south yorksire area.

Hi Rusty,
You need a good family solicitor that is out of your area that will act in best interests of you as parents and your children.
Brendan Fleming is a fantastic solicitor who is well known for taking on SS in family courts and works in interest of parents. Despite their location they go all over the UK.

Hi I have an appointment at a local solicitor tomorrow. I don't hold much hope as I feel social services have already made there minds up. Can I still ring Fleming up or wait to see if I don't get on with the new solicitors? Thanks
