This forum is for friends and family members who have a connection with a person who has viewed indecent images of children on the internet. The forum is designed to be led by the people who use it. It’s an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and to receive and offer support. As moderator of the forum, I shall contribute from time to time. However if you could like to talk to us directly please call the Stop it Now! Helpline on 0808 1000 900. Lines are open 9.00am – 9.00pm Mon-Thurs, and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Fridays.

We set up this forum at the suggestion of someone who engaged with our services in person and felt that we needed to develop an online platform so that we could reach out to as many people as we can and enable them to support each other. We want to connect people with similar experiences to reduce the feelings of stigma and isolation. Many people who get in touch with us don’t know where to start. Sometimes the first words are the hardest to write. We suggest you start where it makes sense to you….you might have a question for other users of the forum, you might want to say a little about why you wanted to come here or what you would like to receive from other members. Alternatively, you might want to express your feelings about what you’re going through or you might want to start by replying to another person’s post. And some people might just want to read the posts already here and take comfort from knowing they are not alone. Whatever you decide, we hope you find the forum helpful.

It makes sense to me poster, I hope they look into it. As if the forum is to help support a community of family and friends who have been there and can encourage each other. The recent posts need to be accessible and they are not.
