Good afternoon everyone,

We wanted to let you know that we have added a new partner testimony to our website. It was written by a lady called Eileen, whose husband was convicted for arranging to meet a minor.

Please click the link below if you would like to read Eileen's account. It contains some incredibly helpful information regarding Eileen's and her family's experience.

I hope you find it useful.

Hi, I couldn’t click on the link? Using my phone so that might be the issue?

Hi Jade - no - the above link doesn’t work. I don’t know what the screen format looks like on a phone but on iPad there is a list on the left of the screen and the link there to partner testimonies works. X

Thanks, no it doesn’t work at all on my phone. I’ll try and look on my laptop soon.

Yes the link to the partner testimonies is is the left hand menu, at the bottom.

I would like to thank Lucy Faithfull for putting this section together, and I would especially like to thank Eileen and Janice for sharing their stories. I am in awe of both of you brave, strong ladies. It is immensely helpful to read a detailed account of what it is like to be in our situation, and very encouraging to read that life does somehow go on. In both cases the positive “endings” to the stories give me hope, and I would like to think that one day I’ll be strong enough to share my story if it can be of help to others. I drew great comfort from recognising the many similarities in each of our situations, and certain aspects really resonated with me. As we attempt to stagger our way through uncharted and hostile territory in a land we never asked to visit, it is of some solace that others have trod the same path and have survived.

Thank-you for sharing your experiences. I am quite sure no-one gets through this process unchanged, and you have allowed me to hope that some of those changes will be for the better, and will contribute positively to rebuilding our lives. I wish you well as you continue your journeys, and I am so pleased that you both appear to have found happiness again.

These testimonies are really interesting to read. Eileen story I can really relate to, I think it may have been Eileen who was a huge help to me on the forum months ago. It's so helpful to know other people have been in similar positions and have similar thought, feeling and reactions to these situations. Thank you for sharing your stories and especially to Eileen as her story is not so different to mine.
