Hi everyone
Does anyone know what happens at plea hearings how long they are and if media will report on them my friends plea hearing is coming up and not sure what really happens so any advice is brilliant.

Thanks for that not sure if you've been following my postings but do they have to put in an plea or is their an option not to put in a plea till crown court?

I'm afraid to say that my husbands plea hearing at local magistrates court was reported in the media (in lockdown too) Weirdly his appearance at crown court a few weeks later wasn't. It's a lottery!

I don't know where you are in the country but my hb's case appeared in the media just like yours. Plea hearing appeared in local paper during period of hard lockdown but sentencing never got a mention.

Yes same here. My OH plea hearing got printed in the local paper during total Lockdown, but nothing after crown court sentencing. There was no press present both times, but they got hold of the info somehow.
