Newton Hearing

My husband has a Newton hearing in a weeks time. Will he be sentenced on the same day ? Or will we have to come back again?

this all depends on what is being discussed and challenged at the Newton hearing and how long it will take to sort out. If the issues are going to be address there and then then your partner could also be sentenced if the issues are resolved. If the nature of the issues and the challenges being made can not be sorted on the day then sentencing may be delayed untill it has been sorted.

Thank you. Its a guilty plea with mitigating circumstances. He wants his side of the story heard. I guess it depends if the judge believes him or not.
