there are absolutely no restrictions with family gatherings etc?
or staying with family?
the only thing I can see where it would come up in future is if my son wanted to start a family?

once your son is off the register and this is all over and has no more involvement from the police or other agencies then that's it he can live a normal life
this also includes starting a family, the unlock website stats that once off the register if a person starts a family a person and his future partner should be treated as any other family as it is a private matter.
the only thing they won't be able to do is foster or adopt as that would involve an enhanced dbs or if in Scotland a PVG check with disclosure Scotland and his offence would show on these leve of checks
