If someone is considered an low risk offender and unlikely risk of re offending what type of punishments would the courts deliver for 555 iioc with 74 been catogery A has anyone had experience with an friend or loved one who's been sentenced for possession of iioc but they have been low risk to re offending my friends solicitor has said she believes him to be low risk and not present any risks to public or offending agian so just looking for advice on how low risk offenders get dealt with.

Yes his solicitor said she believes he's low risk and unlikely of re offending which has brought me onto another question if you could help me out what does the pre sentence report consist of and does probation speak directly to the offender before the sentencing like how does probation get to know an offender I'm trying to be the best friend possible for him so I rougly know what to expect myself as when he goes to court he will definitely be pleading guilty from what he's told me but I'm just wondering what the likely hood of an custodial sentence would be for possession of 555 iioc I know these are probably difficult questions he's spoke to his solicitor about most of it but he hasn't told me yet as he doesn't feel comfortable so not going to pressure him into saying
