Hi SoTired

A member of our family was under 18 years of age when he recieved the 'knock' and he has been through the Youth Court system. We did not have a good experience with the Police, but we have come through the other side.

If you feel able to post some information again about your situation (as all your posts have been deleted) I will keep a look out and try and help in anyway I can, with information about our experience as a family.

Take care of yourself

Hi

I am so sorry that I have missed your post again, so I don't know if I can offer any help/support. These contacts, if you have not already used them maybe of help to you.

YoungMinds - They are a charity supporting young people's (up to the age of 25 years old) mental health by offering support/advice to Parents or Carers. We did use them in the early days and found them very helpful.

Just for Kids Law /Youth Justice Legal Centre - This is a charity that we used for a small period of time that gave free advice around the law and the situation we found ourselves in.

I am sorry if this information is of no use to you and I will keep looking at this post in case you post again, to see if I can help in anyway.

Take care of yourself.

Hi SoTired

Finally able to read your post! I looked on the off chance before going to bed.

That sounds like a really good idea to have a separate section for Youth Offending, so you do not have to go searching through all the posts.

Sadly I feel the Youth offending will continue to increase as I do feel that on the whole most Schools do not cover this topic in their PHSE lessons and they should . So having a separate section for Youth Offending would make sense.

I also think more people may then also post on here in relation to Youth Offending. As many of the posts are not about Youths, it may put people off from posting if they are seeking help in relation to a youth- hope this makes sense.

Take care and best wishes x

Hi SoTired

I have just replied to your other post, a few minutes ago!

It's good to hear that your boys are getting into the spirit of Halloween.

I am sorry to hear you have had to spend the last couple of days on the phone trying to sort things out. I really hope you hear from the CPS soon

Take care of yourself
