So 3 weeks ago the solicitor asked the police for an update.

1) because the Police said mine and children's devices would be returned once I confirmed they were ours - this hasn't happened.

2) because they haven't disclosed ANYTHING to us up to present, even in interview they never disclosed what they was acting on - solicitor seems to think this is unusual as normally they challenge on what they already know to gather more evidence from interview.

The email that was sent has been ignored, is this normally the case?

It doesn't help when my partner is adamant he is completely innocent, do has no idea himself what they are doing or why.

It's been 13 weeks since the knock.

And nope, nothing disclosed! They told me in my home they was acting upon info from IP address, this has never been disclosed to my partner or solicitor. The solicitor seems to think the police have acted on a report from someone as she asked my partner who would be vindictive enough to make such an accusation, again though this hasn't been said by police that this happened. The solicitor has just said it's all a mess and nothing was found on my partners device while he was taken into custody xx

In interview he was asked if he used social medias, dating sites, if he had been on the dark web, and to confirm hi devices. They also asked about issues with people from past offences.

the interview was only 10minutes long and they had asked him questions regarding another offence aswell xx

The info about IP address was only told to me, not to partner or solicitor xx

He's has previous violence and has been to prison before, but no offences of this kind.

He does have social media, FB, Snapchat and Instagram, but no other questions were pushed on these, but he doesn't go on dating sites.

And this is what the solicitor means by its all messy, as nothing was pushed in interview, nothing disclosed.. yes I have spoke to the solicitor and when I spoke to her earlier she said it's as though they're trying to find a needle in a haystack.

It doesn't quite add up either that my property got raided, but his wasnt going to get searched until I told them my partner doesn't live here.. we have been made aware though that they have linked us together through dvla and insurance

I know it doesn't Lee, that's why I said (or nothing found). As in nothing to be able to press charges for.

Thank you lee

I have gone really right through this forum and not one case seems simalar to ours.

So i have the pre interview report as solicitor made copy of this and interview questions and what was answered as we asked for weeks ago.

There is just one sentence regarding this offence, which says 'information gained by anonymous source that 'he' is in procession of iioc'.

The solicitor is completely stumped as she's says they are being too cagey with everything

Thanks Lee, we have always been under the impression that they can't lie, however if they was acting upon an IP addres being flagged, surely this should have been used against him in interview to try and get more evidence to use. But none of the interview tactics they normally used were used either!!

Yes we have a few people who hold grudges, and we aren't ruling this out, but we also know that they normally need some other evidence to gain the search warrant.. we honestly just have no idea!!
