Hey everyone
So I know this may be a difficult question but what is the most comment sentence for possession across all categories with 74 been category A and rest B and C I know it will hugely vary depending on guilty plea and migrating factors aswell as aggravating factors as my friend has crown court next week for possession only and 555 in total I'm absolutely terrified that he's going to get custodial

Regarding sentences, there appears to be no standard formula. The decision on the day is quite simply down to whatever judge is on the circuit within your area and how he/she deals with crimes of this nature. Mitigation, probation report, self help, remorse and character assessments all can help.
In my partner's case he had 5 images in the deleted hard drive and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment suspended for 2 years, 10 year SOR and 10 year SHPO.

Hi Sam, my partner had bout 1000 images 12 cat a 50 b rest c he got 8 months suspended for 2 years, 10 years on shpo, same on register, from what I've seen on here though it does vary, his solicitor thought he would get community service which he didn't, the judge mentioned character references, first offence, good employment record, hope it goes well for you
