Hiya.

I know I am a bit far to go yet in our journey. Only 5 months in but just putting everything in order. I am like that.

So was wondering if he gets a custodial sentence how does he go about phones etc.

Does he get given a phone for calls and texting and where does he do his emails from.

Sorry xx

Morning

Email a prisoner is a good way of communicating to your loves one you just google this on the gov website then select the current prison where they are you then just need to register with there name and prison number you then add some credit (you have to pay for this service) once you type your letter it asks if you want a reply the prison then print the letter and put in an envelope and then give it to the person if they want to reply they have to write a reply back this then is scanned back to your email address it is all confidential so no need to worry the cost varies depending on how many words and sentences are used (hope this makes sense)

I have used this several times without any problems xx

My husband has a phone in his cell, he can call as many times as he wants in a day, although it's fairly pricey at 10p per minute, so make sure when you go to court that your partner takes money with him (my hubbie took £150) this was credited to his account within a couple of days. He can use the credits for calls, toiletries and emails.

I use the 'emailaprisoner' website, again you have to credit your account and each email costs 65p. They seem to get the emails fairly quickly, however replies take a little longer. He handwrites the reply and the prison scan a copy and send it.

I have posted cards, photos and clothes and again they seem to receive them fairly quickly.
