No one understands

I'm 8 months into this awful journey since the knock on the door. My soon to be ex husband got 2 years suspended sentence and 7 yrs on SOR. No support from SS or Police once verdict was done and no restrictions in place for him.
As much as this website and helpline is amazing, I feel no one truly understands what we have to go through. I can talk to my therapist and my friends who have been through divorce or people who are single parents, but no one truly understands the constant heartache each day brings. The constant struggles with what's happened is hard
Has anyone found anything to help them with this?
