We have just received a no further action notice from the police which was on disclosure of looking at child images. The no further action that although there is evidence no prosecution is needed as participating in restorative justice. I believe this "restorative justice" are the Stop it Now courses, therapy every week, medication to suppress libido etc etc

So bail conditions gone.

But they say that other matters have come to light as the case progressed and the police may need to interview him on a voluntary interview basis in the future.

Has anyone else had anything similar and with what outcome. I'm sort of full of joy but then actually the more serious offence matters are the part of the further investigation scenario. So I'm thinking this could still get much worse.

Thank you

Hi CountryGirl,

That's great news! It's a bit odd how they would say other things came to light and he may need to do a voluntary interview because we know the police will push hard to get a conviction. Can you not ask them what they mean? I would say absolutely no to doing any voluntary interviews without the presence of a solicitor, even if the officers seem like they're being nice, don't trust them xx

Hi

That is great news!
can you explain what you mean by ' restorative justice'? Do you mean by him doing courses etc he won't face any charges?
my partner has done everything he possibly can rehabilitation wise.

I didn't realise this was a thing!
thsnks
