Hiya.

So we are nearly 6 months into this rollercoaster of a ride and today hubby had a email and phone call of the arresting police.

They want he to go in for a Voluntary interview, which he says will be him, police and solicitor.

The police said that after that it gets sent off to the cps and can take up to 3 more months.

In one case we are nearing the conclusion and in another case still seems far away.

Hi,

Has he already had a voluntary interview or interview of any kind?

My partner arrested July and attended a voluntary interview 4 days after arrest....had nothing since.

The process seems so different everywhere...and it's making me more confused.

All I know is that they have checked his devices and a small amount has come back.

The arresting officer has said will have the chat which takes around 40 minutes and then he goes back to what he was doing and she puts it together and sends it off the CPS.

He said that the policer said it will take another 3 months on from then before a decision. So I reackon with courts and stuff around the summer.
