Hiya.

Was wondering how long it takes from the 2nd interview to getting some information back from CPS.

My hubby has been told will be roughly over 3 months but my solicitor has said can be a year.

Hiya Lee.

Thank you again for your help.

So what you are saying is that it could be a lot longer the 3 months the police or sometimes shorter.

So the police could say one thing ie suspended sentence but the cps could say no custodial or is that down to the judge on the day.

Sorry for the questions.

Hiya Prinsess.

Blimey 1 year that's beyond a joke. I have seen online that should be between 30-45 days.

Hope you are ok ?

Hi Chelsea

It will be year in Jan for my ex partner's there been some further things happen along the way which has ultimately delayed it and will likely result in other charges.

I think CPS have got their workload cut out on all these cases at the moment!

Hiya.

Had a email today from the arresting officer and she stating that to get information and a charge back from the police should take no longer than 7 months.

She stated that my hubbys case should be back within 3 months.

We shall see.

Hi Chelsea,

The delays are awful but at the same time necessary unfortunately it's all bad theres nothing positive that my ex is doing which is making it worse.

I hope in the new year its closer to being done we are over 1 and half year mark now.

I've always said I will share my experience one day but not before everything is finalised because legally my hands are tied.

I can't say your wait will or won't be that time my best advice is just expect it not to be what they've advised.

Hi,

While I agree there is no definite answer, as no one knows, but it was actually about 2/3 months from his 2nd interview to a letter in the post to say wat the charges where and his first court date at magistrates. We r north west
