hi ladies

Yesterday I did not shed a tear. Today I cannot stop crying. Early days for us, a waiting game. No charges yet but I expect them soon. Every time phone rings I expect the news. Sometimes the unknown feel worse?

if partner gets charged whether I chose to stay or go will he never be able to have unsupervised access to our son? son think we have split as arguing but he will not understand my dad can't take him out alone.

It won't be a speedy process but SHPO conditions usually allow for unsupervised contact with a few conditions attached- written permission from social care being one of them. There are families on here where the partner has returned home etc etc. Make sure you get eyes on the conditions so you know what you're working with.

We're 6 weeks post sentence and although my ex partner received a custodial there's a sense of relief (for him and me). We are back in control. It does improve. He feels safe in prison and is busy working. My children are thriving despite all of this.

This won't last forever. That's my mantra.
