Exs dad's funeral

My ex husbands Dad died a week ago of cancer, my daughter is absolutely heartbroken, and not coping very well. The funeral is after Christmas and she said she'll only go if she can stand with me and her dad, I cannot do this, I can't stand with him in public, I don't want people seeing me with him, and thinking I'm alright with what he's done or back with him if I'm standing with him, there is going to be over 150 people there! My family don't want me to stand with him too for the same reason, there could be repercussions for all of us if people think this. I've told my daughter I can't stand next to him because of what he's done, but she says it's my fault she's so upset about it. My ex step mother totally understands, there will be a lot of people there that's won't be speaking to him. I just don't know what to do, feeling really panicky about it.

I know it might be selfish, but I'm hoping there will be restrictions due to covid, she 11. There isn't any other family she could go with because they all feel the same, they wouldn't want to be near him. This crime just affects so much for such a long time :(
