So I keep having the same nightmare. That when my partner goes in to the police station to answer charges, they will remand him into custody and I won’t see him again.

When the CPS decide charges, do you have to go to the police station? Or do they just send them out with a court date?

We're currently waiting on CPS decision and I'm barely sleeping.

Thank you both. We are NorthWest so maybe it will just be a letter.
solictor was hopeful for a conditional caution as no more evidence found, and was just the one conversation with a decoy. But I think that's unlikely so trying to be more realistic.
I hate this waiting stage, it's agony. X

There was someone in here that had one for communication but I think it was some years ago.
Our solicitor has managed to get them before (they were helpful enough to let me speak to those on the other side too), so I know it happens but I'd also just rather not pin my hopes on that and then be upset when it's something more. X
