Many of you knw that my son is serving a priosn sentence, he has been speking to the officers there and he has been told that he should query some aspects of his arrest and the sentencing. He was arrested at 11.10am and did not return home until 11.30 that night. He was not allowed to make a phone call or wwe were not informed where he was,i had images of him being invloved in an accident, does anybody know if this is correct. After being questioned the same police officers drove him back to his car, at the same time making a conversation with him about his family, is this ok .On the day of the arrest he had blocked her on whatsapp but she statred texing him.would appreciate any help.

Hi fatso,

I'm not really sure about the details and what is and isn't ok but I do believe that the police need to be held accountable if they have failed to act within their remit. I expect the prison officers have a good idea about what should and shouldn't happen so probably worth following it up.

From my own experience, mistakes were made and the proper rules not followed and this seems to be common practise.

For anything to change, people need to be pursuing justice. Although it's very understandable when people don't. It's traumatic the first time round and then they don't make it easy to complain or get justice!

Yet another prison drama looming on tv. If I watch this stuff it terrifies me to think of my son living like this and surrounded by violence. He has witnessed a few incidents but tells me it's nothing like these dramas.

Hi feelsick

He's in a 'sex offender' prison..... and their crimes are not spoke about....... he witnessed a self harm incident and a prisoner kicking off due to his broken tv. That's it in a whole year!
