Hi sadmum, no advice as I'm still at the beginning of this awful process but big hugs and keep your chin up.
I was also wondering would changing name affect the outcome ? Would it make people look more guilty or was he already told he will be charged before he decided to change name x

Not my personal story but someone in my street has been charged and it was all over social and the street name etc and nothing has happened I purposely walked passed a few times but no damage. It was a young lad who lives with parents and I really wanted to go knock on and show support but worried if anyone saw I would end up outing my own situation which is awful feeling.

Hi Jay Jay,

Unfortunately our first sw would have put my husband down, there was no way she would allow him home, it's only now being on this for that I no it is possible to get him home, as she said he would never be allowed home. Yes we were very up front with the council and due to him only being investigated at the time they would help him, but if he had gone to prison I think they may have evicted him I don't no for sure and obviously will never no that thank god. They were very lovely and understanding unlike the sw. Sorry I have only just come back on and saw ur reply. I have told them, sw my husbands offenders manager that we want him back home eventually, but we would like over night stays to start with, I'm trying to compromise but they no I am not happy with him not being allowed over night stays when there are other people that can have them and their partners home. I am going to be trying to do my safety plan by our next cin meeting so hopefully that will help.

Hi Sadmum,

Honestly after going through it, my hubby was in the media less than 5 mins after I got in, but it literally lasted the weekend and only because we had a newly formed vigilante group who was reporting everything, we have lost close family members and some friends but I've gain some amazing people, and also a mum I was worried about telling who has not known me long, said it's not about wat he has done it's about him changing and if he is willing to change then that's all that matters, I was so grateful because I had kept it a secret from her for nearly 2 years, then she suddenly realised a lot of things made sense. It truly is a good saying ( if I say it right lol ????????) those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter xx this group whilst only finding it last April has kept me alive
