Hi Feelsick,
I know how you are feeling. I also had an update from the solictors last week and two devices are still outstanding - they've been sent externally for further checks. I guess this may be what's happened with you. They haven't confirmed which devices but I'm certain I know which ones.
Police are hoping that they're back in the next few weeks.

The whole process is a joke. I read a story on here from a lady who got arrested and went through this hell for almost 2 years because her IP was flagged but it wasn't her it was someone else who had been viewing iioc. It's not funny when someone loses their job because of it. My partner had 3 images/videos on his phone which had come from a group chat and were apparently illegal (not iioc), he hasn't been charged for them so I'm assuming we will get the devices back. The police made me think that there'd be thousands of images on it LOL. I actually can't believe the police can come into your house, turn it upside down, tell you your partner is a horrible person and views CP and not even call to apologise when no images/searches are found. I am hoping and praying the chat situation can be squashed now too!

Also thank you so much Lee for voicing that it is possible to get the evidence before the "5 day" myth as we called and got the evidence way before the 5 days so it's given us hopefully a better chance of being able to look at everything more closely. Xx
Exactly! Regardless of what anyone has been accused of they have a right to fully defend themselves. My partner rang the CPS and they were more than happy to send it, I told him to get it sent to us but the CPS said normally they send it to the solicitor and can only send it once so he ended up getting it sent to the solicitor which is probably a good thing cos it's one less thing to look at day in day out and ponder on. It'll be interesting to see what they have. I shall keep you all posted. Thanks again! Xx
