My husband has a date to go back to see the police, it is in another 2 weeks time due to the officers leave. He has to go to our local police station, is this normal?

Also does anyone have any ideas of what I can do while he's there? I'm currently not in work and feel so on edge about him going in on a set day which weve already known about for 2 weeks!!

Sorry I haven’t heard of this, is it for questioning or answering bail? What are the circumstances so far? My husband is currently ‘under investigation’ so don’t know what the next step is?!?

It depends what stage you are at. If he is on bail, is it just to answer bail. If that is the case they will likely either extend bail or release him under investigation. They may want to interview him further about the offence or other offences, he could ask if he will need a solicitor present when he attends.

He was arrested for images and admitted guilt in December. He has had his bail extended to June so its not that. The officer said to him all his devices were nearly checked but due to her being on nights said that by the next date she had available they would be finished and booked this date with him. As far as I know it hadn't gone to the CPS by that point.

Just a bit confused as I would have thought they would go straight to the CPS for a decision--unless this could be to reinterview or charge him in person? Also I'm panicked that he hasn't told me the full story and that's why he's going in again.

Confused and lonely,

this happened with my ex. He was interviewed when first arrested and admitted everything they felt although they don’t know until they have looked at devices. Once all devices had been looked at they then interviewed him again to question him about what they had found. He didn’tt Have a solicitor when first arrested but sisnwhen he returned for interview. He was advised to answer no comment to basically all questions which I found stupid after having been so truthful (which i thought was positive) when first questioned - i just couldn’t see the point of lying anymore! Anyway that was back in probably September and then it still took till March to come to court. Hope that helps, Rosa
