Hi all,
My partner was due in court for sentencing on 7th January but got a call to postpone until 26th. On Tuesday this week he had a phone call from a parole officer asking him to attend a meeting with her on Thursday 13th. He said OK but does she realise he hasn't been to court yet? At this point she said she's not supposed to talk to him before he's been to court and she told him she needed to check some details and would be back in touch.
Does this mean his sentence has already been decided?

Hi Feelsick
Thanks for reply. He has already had a long call with probation on the 4th January where they discussed all the things you have mentioned. The lady that called him this week said he would have to report to her once a week at first and then this would gradually reduce to fortnightly, monthly etc. But how can they say that if he hasn't been to court yet?
