my husband had his meeting with work today and hes been let go and now we have 2 months to leave our home. This investigation is literally destroying everything.

No, my husband said we will receive a letter through the post saying we're too leave the property then we can make plans with the council. My social worker has now closed our cin and referring us to early help as I had said I was concerned what we'll do as we will have no income or home and with 3 children it is a huge worry. We have already changed out tax credits but I have been told we'd be better off on universal credits so will look in to it. Just more stress to add to an already stressful situation.

I'm so sorry it has gone this way for you. I bet you are at the end of your tether. I really hope you get a plan of action in place soon. Definitely get on UC, I applied online, takes a while but we'll worth it. Also don't forget about child benefit, if you don't already claim it, just give them a call.

I'm wishing you lots of luck x

Thanks ladies,

in all honesty the last 2 days I've just allowed all of this to sink in, I've screamed,I've cried but now I'm ready to get this sorted. I know people are there to help but I never thought I'd ever be in this situation let alone losing my house and our income. As of Monday it's action stations and seeking the help we deserve. We have contacted his company and demanded a section 21 so we can get housing so just need to wait for it to arrive. We have requested the minutes to his meeting as by what he's saying I think there may be a case of unfair dismissal. They kept bringing up about his investigation and what risks he would be and the damage he could do to the company name but his suspension etc was due to misconduct for not informing them of investigation. He hasn't been done for anything yet so surely the investigation shouldn't have played a part in their decision, should it? I'm at my wits end with it all at the minute. Feel I'm constantly in battle with everyone at the minute.
