What did they get charged with and sentences and timeframes

Hope we are all doing ok.
Just wondering what people got charged with and sentence they received and the timeframes it took.
My hubby is awaiting charges from 48 pictures over all cats A/B/C. No distribution or chat.
Been 1 month since sent to CPS.

Yes thank you. Been doing counselling for the last 3 weeks , once a week , been into my running and baking.
Yes fully understand that both 2 cases are not the same. Have seen some cases with 1,000s across all settings getting only community service and seen some with low numbers getting prison.
We have worked extremely hard with counselling, him doing 7. Changed mobile to all no internet access.
We have talked lots and lots and yes I am staying with him through this.
Just waiting on CPS which has been a month.

My journey has/is been a long one lots of delays in the system and just the sheer volume of this type of crime I am 31 months down the Line, trial is due next week so hopefully can soon move on dependant on outcome.
there will be ups and downs limbo feels like hell but then you get a letter or a call of things and you would rather be back in limbo!
I hope cases start to pick up momentum and not leave people hanging on.

Chelsea totally understand how you are wanting to find out sentencing I feel the same it's my son that had the knock.
But reading post I now see that no 2 cases are the same.
At the moment I don't even know what his charges are going to be it's still being investigated.
So I am going to take each day as it comes and hope for the best possible can not turn back time so need to try and carry on.

Yes definitely not the same in two cases and depends on the judge at the end of the day.
How long you been waiting and has your case gone to CPS yet ?

My brother had first knock March 2020, was RUI for just over a year and a half and then was arrested again in October and we were told that night that he would be in the magistrates the following morning and the police officer told us it would be custodial.. but then that same night they called us to say he was allowed to come home as he had been RUI again and his case was with the CPS so that was nearly 4 months ago and we think we are now waiting (hopefully) for a letter with a court date.
We are in the north east and i think its for making and distribution of all cats.
I think the not knowing whats going to happen in the future is awful and I completely understand you wanting to get an idea of everyone elses story as I do the same on here and I try to judge what the sentence might be and try to convince myself he wont go to prison but so far I havent seen anyone with a similar story to ours so then I drive myself mad trying to look on the internet for some idea too.. it's exhausting but its so hard to switch off. Being in limbo is hard but Im absolutely dreading the next part.

4 months and nothing from CPS that's a joke. Fingers crossed you get your court date soon and then you can try and move on.

Im not totally sure on the exact charge but I think its making and distribution so we could be looking at anything from a suspended sentence to months or years in prison its really hard to try and judge, so we are just taking each day as it comes and trying to not have it hanging over us until whatever happens xxx

I know they come down firm on distribution.
