How many visits did you have before case was closed?

I feel like just as they are backing off and getting ready to close us they come back with another activity or visit they forgot to do! I feel like they are just ticking boxes even though they have no concerns about my children or my ability to protect them. Feeling really down and want them to go away and let us live our lives

No Lee, we still going through the initial assessment (2 months) should get an 'outcome' soon if they stop springing things on me. It was looking positive for case closure until a new young sw took over and I feel like im her Guinea pig. She says I can say no to some things but implied it didn't look good for the assessment if I declined. Im not being bullied by them but I want them out of our lives

the sw told me in the meeting it should be done next month and implied would be closed, as no concerns, school happy, happy I can protect, children unaware at present and I will keep it that way for as long as possible until it comes out, partner moves out and all visits supervised.
We have safety plan in place, good support and I could see light at the end of the tunnel. Now new social worker is more active and I don't like it! :(/

I know how stressful it can be, hang tight play the game and they will just work through the bits they need to. It's frustrating when you were so close to getting rid of them but I'm sure it won't be long, maybe use it to your advantage? Is there anything extra you can get by being supported by childrens services such as childcare
