Today has been a great day. It's been nearly 9 months since the knock and we haven't heard anything yet. (Despite being told we would hear next steps in early 2022).
But, limbo land isn't so bad today. We are on holiday. Our first holiday as a family (daughter was born in September). It's also my 30th birthday today.
I've been so worried we wouldn't get this holiday because of anything happening and not being allowed (also incase of lockdowns!). But we are here. It's amazing. We are having the best time.
Our social worker even wished us a lovely time and told us she wouldn't contact us at all while we are away so we could relax and have a lovely time. (She's amazing to be fair and we have had a good experience all round with her and all others we have interacted with).



Im just hoping against all hope that we can continue to be a family. But I'm convinced hubby will get a custodial- which just seems ludicrous if he does after 9 months (and counting) living as a free man. But that's the ridiculous justice system for you. BUT, for now we are making every moment count and savouring every moment as a family.
