Not a great day son has been doing ok but today has taken us back to the beginning again currently on remand sentancing will be in the next 5 weeks.

He had his PSR and from all accounts it was very fair and was categorised as low risk but was told by his barrister the judge will unlikely take any of the report in to consideration and would be classed as dangerous and high risk! This has now taken away any hope for him

Just another setback on this crap journey

:-( xx

Hi Jayjay

A lot of charges unfortunately and no Idea why his barrister told him this the report gave him a bit of hope but know he feels so down

I guess it comes down to the judge on the day x

While it's upsetting for the barrister to say that the judge is unlikely to take it into account, that is better than a barrister saying that you'll get a caution or a suspended sentence. No-one can predict what the judge is going to say on the day. My husband's barrister said 'prepare for the worst and hope for the best' and that it would be wrong of him to guarantee any particular outcome.
