Still awaiting CPS charges

Hiya all.
Been told that the charges from the police where sent to CPS on 4/1/22.
Fully understand that there is a backlog etc.
Hubby said that the police said that this was the quickest bit.
I know one day at a time. Walking. Sorting the house move out etc. But this is killing me.

My sons case was sent in October and said it would take 28 days
we just want it over with now so we can focus on moving forward, but at the minute we are just stuck in limbo, 14 months so far , the waiting is the hardest part

That's the same thing they told my hubby. 28 days but can take 3-4 months. It's like another rollercoaster.
