18 months since the knock. Bailed and then at 28 days charges were dropped, but RUI. No updates at all so far.

We have just received charges and date for magistrates... it's in June! So much for it being 3 weeks after receiving them.

Nemisis how you doing? Were you expecting custodial? May I ask what charges were? X

My ex hasn't spoke to me since his arrest so I knew very little. I had no idea then.

I had sight of the charges due to a police admin error so with google I had an idea of severity. He was also in a position of trust

communication and images (all categories)

After what I heard at court, he was lucky to get 5

Images got about 5 months in total (by that stage it was a blur). Not a lot of images but all categories.

the 5 was for communications which was in highest category. The judge was fair, he followed the guidelines, and explained things

but... I don't want to worry people but original sentence was 3 years, we all left, etc and i thought he had got off very light, but I got a call later in day to say that judge had increased the sentence to 5. In line with guidelines.

I never knew that could happen but it is all a blur. Judge made it clear no reporting by either media or police.

Still 5 years is still alot.

My hubby has 48 images in all cats but no distribution or communication.

We are hoping for a community order or suspended sentence.

Hi Chelsea is that what your solicitor has advised? I didn't think they could get a community order whereby cat a's are found? I might (and hope) be wrong though x

Hi,

My ex has a few hundred images and videos all categories and police told me he will probably be looking suspended. Is this not correct then?

Hiya Jayjay.

Seen loads of people with over 100s of images etc getting community orders.

My hubby spoke to solicitors and we are disbuting the A cat ones because they are the ones which are not viewed and cannot make out.

So Lee.

Basically if he cannot get the cat a squashed then the community order is out the window and can be looking at a custodial or suspended?

Thank you Lee as always.

So I think it's 12 in Cat A this rest over B,C.

We are disbuting the Cat A because they cannot be viewed in any way but the police said they know they is there.

He has done all the courses on here and had 8 private counselling sessions which he paid for.

We live in south of England and the police have said to him that they have levels of crime for this 1-5. The arresting officer have said he is below level 1.

Gut feeling tells me suspended sentence with the other stuff added being 10 years.

Straight why aren't they the same. Shows you no consistency in these cases.

Well as you know I live in the south and moving to the north in around 3 weeks. So the case will be held when we have moved.

Yes the 10 years on SOR/SHPO.

Hiya Lee.

Yes been told that he will have to come back for the court cases.

Just awaiting charges from the police. They have the charges from CPS and just waiting for the letter to come.

He knows there is 8 charges thou.

The arresting officer has said to him that magistrates will be roughly in May 22.

Myself I am looking at him having a suspended sentence

Do u know where he will have to sign the SOR down in the south or north ?

God knows what the 8 charges are to be honest.

Has to be. Having, downloading and looking at. But that's only 6 across the catagories.

Will await the solicitors call etc.

Tried looking at police stations. Looks like link won't open.

Thank you very much again Lee. U have been outstanding again.
