Smile, sometimes it just rises up and hits us doesn't it? Maybe, in years to come, when all this is behind your loved one and he has moved on with his life, you will be able to look at the photos and just have those happy memories.

Love and hugs. Stay safe today.x

My son changed his name so that he will be charged in his new name - our surname is distinctive so it was to protect us and his sibling as much as anything. It still feels odd when mail arrives for him.

Hi Ladies

We are thinking to change his surname once he has been sentenced as once he is out of prison he can try to rebuild again xx

Hi Smile, yes, really easy - although to be fair, we used the solicitor that is dealing with his case. We had all the paperwork prepared and then on the morning of his second interview when we got disclosure of what the charges were likely to be, we just pressed 'go' and did it there and then.

Hi my son changed his name before charges so hoping it is the only name read out at court, we just printed it off online and sent it to solicitor and he passed it onto the police before he went in to find out charges, really easy to do and was free , I just bought some parchment paper off amazon for the copies we sent to dvla and bank etc..

Ladies

Would you say it is better to change before sentancing or after as I am not sure what's best he is on remand and will get custodial when sentanced so I was thinking to do before he is released when ever that will be xx
