We had the knock on the door six weeks ago tomorrow it's now half term and no grandchildren. Two cat 3 photos, he is not a threat to the grandchildren, daughters are very black and white about this only I can see the kids. Surely they are damaging their children more not letting us see them as normal, they don't know what is going on and children often feel that they are to blame. This situation could go on for a long time, I am not in good health and could be dead before this is sorted. I can't live on my own, going to end up in a care home if custodial sentence. Sorry rant over just wanted to share frustration.

I sorry to say, but if you both want to see the grandchildren Social Services will be involved. My Hub hasn't seen the grandchildren since the knock, this is due to our grown up child not wanting SS involved in their lifes, it's not been ideal, but I live two different lives the one with my hub and the one with my family. My hub had 3 cat C in a deleted file. My hub meets our 3 grown children often, but never the grandchildren. He has no SHOP either. Its my new normal.
