Hi there, so plea hearing on 10th Feb, been out back we assume because they are still looking into evidence, he is contesting two charges and admitting guilt to one attempted sexual communication with a 14-16 year old, other two charges are grooming and indecent pic which he has sworen he didn't send to the chat he said no pics, the pic is one of him naked which he actually sent to me as a joke we always did this. no arrangements to meet, so until we see evidence, we've no idea we're the grooming us coming from, rang cps, they wouldn't tell him anything, solicitor is not answering so we've no idea when next plea hearing is? Is this normal? Also ss are completely ignoring him to about talku g to his children (not mine). His mental health nurse and counsellor have out in a Compliant, he's worked so hard on himself and he's doing rilliant but what I want to ask I guess is is it OK to change solicitor at this point? If I'm honest he sounded like he just wanted him to plead guilty even without seeing evidence, is this normal or should he look elsewhere?

Thank yih both so so much for your replies tgars all makes sense, he's paying but his had to resign from his job, it's so disheartening noone is listening at all, we've no idea what happening, definitely gonna ring around to see if we can change, it was the duty solicitor, at second interview we had to push him to contest the pic, he's been honest with me about everything so far and is giving me full disclosure so I know he's not lying about the pic. When the solicitor asked if they have Proof the pic is connected to chat they said 'no comment' no idea what that means but time to switch I think. Tha ks for the advice it's invaluable xx

Thanks Lee I know he even was questioning it himself but he's sure there were none but unless we see evidence we don't know yeah was pool e decoy apparently they couldn't find the chat but when he was first questioned they showed him chat second interview and charges in police station nothing, its all so confusing especially since plea date was 10th Feb and we've heard nothing not even a date for next hearing sent emails phone calls nothing back x

Exactly we've no idea what's going on he is guilty of the attempted sexual communication with a 24-26 year old but, I've no idea whats going on with the other two charges. one the pic the other grooming, we've never seen his charge sheet, he was charged at 2nd interview but solicitor asked if they had evidence that pic was connected to chat, they said no comm3he saud her face dropped, thank god I've been on the forem and had lots of insite from everyone, he said he never arranged to meet, he said definitely no pics either, he's actually wrote me a letter stating stuff he talked about so I would be prepared for seeing the evidence, so I don't even know where the grooming is coming from, definitely new solicitor, he's been treated do badly bubthem plus social services! He's doing brilliant has done so. Much work on himself he doesn't deserve this xx

Sorry Lee my typos are terrible tgat was supposed to be 14 - 16 year old I'm not very good at this new phone lol appaet from that I'm. Confused too. We just want to know when the next plea date is and noone is answering in solicitors
