Morning all,

Im starting the inform course in a few weeks and I'm very scared about it and I'm not entirely sure why (guess the unknown)

Has anyone been on it and can offer an insight into what it will involve? More specifically will I need to share my current situation? I'm frightened I will make things worse for OH if I mention things (he had a no comment interview but has been open and honest with me)

Hi,

I have been on it and u don't have to go into full details if u don't want too, the first one can be scary as u r meeting people u don't no for the first time, I found it brilliant, I was just scared because I felt they would judge me like everyone else had but they didn't, and i have made some new friends.

Thank you for your replies. I'm scared I'll be judged for standing by him too

Hi NMS, I start the course in a few weeks.
I have stayed with my husband and supported him, I often go through cycles of feeling shame/guilty for staying with him-or thinking people will judge me. But Lee often says on here 'those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind', I say this to myself a lot and have found it to be completely true.
i think the good thing about this place and the course is that we are all in this together xx

Thanks again ladies.

I think it was £85 for the inital hour or so meeting /discussion about my situation and whether the course was suitable and then I think about a 2 month wait c for the start date, they said they had a few lines up to run as there was a quite a high demand unfortunately. Just wish someone would put 2 n 2 together n realise this is becoming a pandemic and something more needs to be done to prevent/understand/rehabilitate people rather than just punishing and making people wait so long for the investigations (sorry slight tangent)

Nms totally agree, and we seem to be published even more than our OH's!
why did I think the course was about £800!
I think must people on the course will be people on this forum or like the people on this forum, supportive, non judgmental and in the same boat x

Hi all

i have just had my enrollment meeting before starting the course. I was going to do a 1:1 course but i think it would be far more beneficial learning from ther peoples experiences . The enrolment meeting is 85.00 .

steph was lovelly at LFF we had a good chat about my situation and she told me all about the course very informative .

That's good Maij. I really want to do it but I'm a bit anxious and also wondering how I'll find time between working full time and kids being in x

Hi jayjay

yes working and individuals at home! Its probably going to be difficult working it into a suitable time with privacy . I too was nervous and still am about starting the course, but I want to learn and understand more about this.

Hi ladies

I done the course last year and it gave me a lot more understanding in how and why it can happen I was so scared in the first meeting but everyone is in the same boat and we are all there for the same thing and I have made so great friends from the course we all have a WhatsApp group now and we are all there for each other.

thinking of you all though this tuff time
