Hi

I've done safeguarding courses many times due to my job, don't worry it'll be fine and if you get a good trainer it'll be really informative for you too.

Sorry for the late reply

I am doing this work with action for children they are doing work with me and the children

It has helped me a little bit and now has me asking alot more questions about my husbands crime he is out of prison in 26 days. He is not aloud to live with us and to be honest I think that is best because this home needs to be a safe place for my children and everyone in the area is aware of what he has done. I am now in two minds on where I am going to go from here at first I was set on trying to be a family but now I am just very unsure

Big sigh

The course is an important step in showing social services that you are aware of what to look out for as risks in the future when your husband is released. I had to do a council run 6 week course and I couldn't say much about myself as I was the only person who wasn't a victim or parent of an abused child. But I learned a lot and I am aware of signs to look out for. After the course I looked at every lone man as a risk to my girls but then your mind calms down and becomes normal again.
