I would like to know if licence condiitons can e challenged. My son was relased recently and one of his condition is no unsupervised contact with children under 16 without prior approvel of the supervising officer(probation) althugh this is not on his SHPO.

The proation also went onto say even though we dont have anything in writing that everytime a visit is arranged for my son to his son she must speak to his x to get permisson- never heard of this before.

My son had a visit from the polce and they said because it is not on his SHPO it can e challenged, my son has a little boy ages 4.

Hello Fatso,

Thank you for posting on the Family and Friends forum, we understand that it is not easy to post on a forum about these difficult situations. I can see that you have not yet had a reply to your post, hopefully someone else in a similar situation will reply soon with some support.

We would really encourage you to contact us on our confidential and anonymous Stop It Now! helpline on 0808 1000 900. One of our trained advisors will then be able to explore your situation with you further and provide tailored guidance and advice. I would like to assure you that all of our helpline advisors are experienced, non-judgemental and talk to individuals in a similar situation to yours every day, so will be best placed to offer you support at this time. Alternatively, you can contact us on our online live chat service which is open Monday and Friday 9am-12pm and Wednesday 6pm-9pm.

It is also really important that you take care of yourself at this difficult time. Ensuring that you are eating and sleeping properly and getting some exercise daily can be really helpful in making you start to feel a bit better in yourself.

I hope you feel able to reach out on the helpline soon.

Take care,

Lucy
