Discrepancies in dates

Hi Ladies,
Something has plagued me since we got the charge sheet last year and I just can't stop thinking about it. On my husbands charge sheet it was documented between 2 given dates that his offending occurred. What's been on my mind is that the second date was 5 days after the knock when all electronics were removed. There was no way during those 5 days he could have been involved in anything online as we had no electronics at all. Has anybody else noticed any discrepancy like this?
Were post sentencing by a good few months so it's not like anything can be addressed now. Just wondered if anybody else had seen anything like this
sending love xx

Edit: sorry I just seen your post sentencing. Not sure it can be corrected now...
Same thing happened for my partner. I would get his solicitor to challenge it before it goes to court. My partner had the knock in June but they stated the same date but in July. It was an error and my partner had the solicitor state this at the hearing and the judge said it should have been dealt with before court because there wasn't anything they could have done at the time of sentencing.
They also had his address wrong during the sentencing. Its these simple details that make you not trust the system. It's the least the authorities can do to make sure they get their facts right

We had the knock on 6th October 2020, at 11.00. We had woken at 7.15 and by 8 my partner had left to help out with some building work. The police turned up and his devices were taken. On his charge sheet, they stated that on that same day, he had viewed one Cat c? Bearing in mind that in the time between waking and leaving, he had had breakfast, we had chatted we queried the belief that he would have found the time to view any images (I am sure that he hadn't even looked at his phone or laptop in that time and he left them here when he went out- he was only working across the road). The solicitor thought it wasnt worth questioning as it wouldnt have made much difference. It was only a small discrepancy, but it still highlights the errors that are possible, but sadly the aftereffects can be so much more and long lasting.
Hi all,
Its really bizarre isn't it!! I wish I'd pushed for more answers when I first noticed it. Although I am considering contacting somebody high up in the force to ask about this x

I wanted to share our experience of this with the forum........ The young person in our family has an incorrect date on one of his charges by exactly a year (this was a typo error that was missed by us as this charge was on a separate page on the charge sheet).
We only realised the error after the young member of our family had been sentenced. Once we pointed out the error, we were shocked that it took over 6 months for the police (and CPS) to come back and say the only way it can be changed is to go back to court to change this date which is clearly a police admin error with potential of re-sentencing as it it not looked at as a simple admin error in the eyes of the courts! This is not a course of action we wish to take, so we will live with the police's admin mistake.
Just wanted to share this with you all, because if I could go back in time I would look over dates on the charge sheet more thoroughly - it is a very stressful time so it's quite easy to miss it. I urge you all to check dates and make sure they are correct as once it has been to court, it is not easy to rectify.
I hope this piece of information helps at least one person on here.
