My partner was due to attend his first bail date last week but it was extended for another two months. I've read that the police can only keep you on bail for 3 months, anymore than that and they have to go back to the courts for permission. So, we're hoping that after these next 2 months he will be released under investigation rather than bail with conditions. Sorry I can't be of more help, we're currently going through the same thing :(

My partner didn't get any confirmation of his bail being extended! Received a letter in the post telling us the police were going to ask for a bail extension due to lack of evidence as they hadn't started looking into devices yet, asking if he approves of this which he replied to, advising that he did. After that we didn't hear anything at all back, partner tried to contact his police contact through call and email multiple times, didn't hear anything. Spoke to his solicitor who equally knew nothing and told him to go to his bail date anyway. My partner showed up on the date and was turned away at the door and told it had been extended for 2 months so he didn't need to go. I know we're only a month and a half into this but we've had horrible communication with all the professionals involved.
