At last, after 16 months of waiting and three postponements, my husband has been sentenced for 'making' iiocs in Cats A and C. He has been unbelievably lucky and due to the work he has put in, reports from SIN and his therapist and great work from his solicitor in getting a sizeable number of images and other related charges dismissed, he walked out of Court with two years supervision and two years on the SOR. I don't wish to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I still cannot believe it!

Yes, we still have to put up with unannounced visits from the Police and Criminal Justice Social Work, they will ask their intrusive questions, but we just have to put up with them a little while longer, and it may even help my husband stick to the straight and narrow. No reporter in Court either ( well they caught my husband at his plea hearing in December, which was horrible but nothing bad happened to us).

We have a long way to go to repair our marriage, something we are both committed to, but which we deferred until after sentencing. This will be a difficult process as I , for one, have been keeping a lot of my thoughts and feelings buttoned up, apart from having the occasional outburst here.

So, dear ladies, I thank you so much for the support, information and all those virtual hugs. I have seen several new folks arrive here recently and know they will also receive the same wonderful, non judgemental support. I will still check in for a while and if there is any help I can give I shall do so. In the meantime love to you all.

That must be such a relief what was contained in the report from SIN as my son rang up and they would only provide a call log even tho he has done all the modes and the courses they did provide him with a certificate for one of the courses and now he's had to pay for the call log to be sent he has got his first magistrates hearing at the end of the month

I've been thinking of you and wondering how you are getting on. Glad that this step is over.

All the best in the journey to heal your relationship and I hope you both get to enjoy your retirement.

So happy for you Judith. Your advice and support in my first few weeks was so appreciated. I've been thinking about how you were doing.
mind if I ask how many images? My oh charges are the same, plea in June.
Also anything you can advise what he can do apart from therapy and SIN?
good luck for the future whatever you decide to do x
