We've been told to expect custodial.

His sentencing is next week.

Should we get a draft SHPO before sentencing? My partner wondered whether it was something that was done during his sentence as it won't come into action until he's released? From what I've read it seems he should have it for sentencing.

Morning Sal,

I asked our sons solicitor yesterday about this as we were due for sentencing today even though it's my son I feel like we are all been sentanced :-(

She advised both the PSR and SHPO are completed and uploaded in to the system ready for sentance then the barrister has access to this and will discuss before his sentance hearing in a pre court conference xx

Thank you for responding. I understand what you mean regarding you all being sentenced. Because of the way my partners case progressed, he has to have the same judge as he had at the plea hearing. The only date they could get all diaries to work was 7 weeks from plea. I'm not sure I could cope with another 7 weeks of uncertainty, my health and work are suffering as is the relationship with my support network.

I think you and I feel much the same about sentencing - just wanting it over so we know what we are working with and then focusing on getting through the next chapter.

I know your sons case was canceled because of Covid, do you know if the PSR and SHPO were ready? If so how many day in advance were you made aware?

Hi SAL

I wasnt made aware but as I have full permission to discuss his situation with the solicitor and barrister I sent them an email asking who sets the SPHO conditions as I diddnt know and this would have to have been done prior to sentancing, I only asked Thursday and was advised it had been uploaded a week prior

I understand the backlogs etc but twice dates have been set and cancelled, out anxiety is at an all time high, my son is so p off as just wants to know what he will get and be moved from the hell remand prison he currently is in this just causes so much added pain:-( xx

SAL

Hoping for the best possible outcome for you at sentencing next week. Failing that, hoping for something that at least seems fair.
