Yes I read that too! I hope she never gets a public sector job again and as for using her pregnancy and her partner leaving her ad an excuse to destroy someone's life, that's a joke! Shewas in a position of trust and all this person did was ask for help. The ot of them on that group chat should have been sacked really.

I saw a screenshot of that article on Instagram and all of the hundreds of comments were offers to pay her back the fine and saying how good she was for doing it.

I think people fail to understand there are many people who end up on the register, from depraved people who have repeatedly and physically harmed children or adults to someone who got caught having sex outside with another consenting adult where they thought it was safe but got caught. There are many, many reasons and not everyone is a danger or a horrible person.

I think they should rebrand or tier the register system so that when it's spoken about the public don't branch everyone under the same thing! Not just that but as a society we need to learn to support offenders - of course some are lost causes who will continue to offend until the day they die and do pose an actual threat with no intention of trying to be better but there are thousands who won't re-offend and try hard to be better and as we cannot just remove them off the face of the Earth it would be better to show compassion and support to prevent re-offending.

I think the page it was posted from is mainly young audience, probably 16-30 I would say. I think a lot of young people get their "news" froms memes and stories coming from Instagram pages like this so their views will always be very close minded plus a lot of people who act up to get likes on their comments too. I would've commented but you can't argue with stupid x
