I'm sorry for what you're going through I'm assuming it was your son who committed a crime.

how long ago did the crime occur ? And when did you tell him because if it was refent maybe he needs time to come around but your son doesn't deserve death people make mistakes and can still have good sides to them and contribute to society in a good way.

Hi Smile

I am sure the comments are because he is hurting inside as you have said before he dosent talk about the situation with your son because men dont talk openly about emotions it's just so sad xxx

Oh Smile,

Love and hugs to you xx.

I wish men would talk more. My husband gets very down at times but covers it up, in fact we both do I suppose as a way of coping.

It's such a hard journey xxx

Hi Smile,

No, not wrong to forgive someone after they've made a horrendous mistake. Not wrong either to feel angry and upset about the impact of that mistake on everyone.

Both of us (husband and me) have sacrificed a lot to support our son and I feel regret every day for what has been lost but we carry on. Son is living with us now so I can't have the grandchildren to stay, have to go and visit them all the time. I get mad at him sometimes because he seems to be just carrying on as if nothing happened but I suppose, like the rest of us, he's just trying to cope and live - after all, we have to try to move forward, even though sometimes it feels like wading through mud.
